OUR TAKE
Best fit: an API whose threads also need operators
An API integration does not end when a reply reaches the backend. Miss Blue’s operator surface gives an engineer somewhere to evaluate human takeover, provided the chosen integration exposes the needed state. This is a source-based review of our own product, not an independent acceptance report.
The published production package
The reviewed promotional plan is $99 per dedicated line monthly, with API, integrations and Message Center included. A sandbox is available without a live customer-facing line. The package describes SMS/RCS fallback and rich media, while FaceTime Audio and phone calling are separately priced. Confirm account-specific capabilities against the current API documentation.
Design around the documented contract
Determine which identifiers and status events your chosen integration supplies. Persist the application’s intended action separately from provider acceptance and subsequent replies. Do not assume an idempotency header or receipt exists unless the relevant endpoint documents it. A generic retry policy should not create a second customer message after an unknown outcome.
Let an operator take the final action
Run a thread through both the application and Message Center, then give a person control. Check how your app learns about the manual reply and whether scheduled automation stops. Published guidance targets about 30 new outbound conversations daily per line, with a higher range subject to healthy engagement and review. Commercially unlimited replies are not an unlimited throughput promise.
The decision in one sentence
Evaluate the API together with the operator workflow if human completion is a core part of the application.
